Chiropractor Chad Kobs D.C.

Chiropractor Hudson WI Chad Kobs

Not many people know this, but my chiropractic journey started when I was in high school! I’ve always been awe-inspired by how the human body works — all of its functions and intricacies.

After seeing my dad’s health complications at an early age, and seeing him in and out of hospitals, I knew working in a natural healthcare profession would be fulfilling. I can help people like my dad function better, become healthier, and happier.

I love interacting with patients, sharing suggestions, and setting patients up for healthier lifestyles where they feel like they aren’t limited and can thrive.

My chiropractic goals

My mission is to assist every family in receiving an opportunity for optimal health. I want to educate and empower individuals to make informed decisions about their health. I want patients to thrive at their absolute best with holistic care that addresses all aspects.

My approach to patient wellness uses natural, evidence-based chiropractic care to help your body heal from within, and I work on customized care plans with patients to make sure my work meets their needs.

Education

I went to Somerset High School in Wisconsin; college at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire where I studied kinesiology, biology, and chemistry; and I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

I chose to attend Palmer College’s doctor of chiropractic program, after much debate on schools, because of its prestigious history.

It’s the first school of chiropractic in the world, established in 1897 by Daniel David Palmer.

Honors and Awards

At Palmer College, I was honored to be recognized with the Virgil V. Strang Philosophy Award.

The award is selected by a faculty panel to recognize a graduate for his or her distinctive accomplishment and contributions to the philosophical principles of chiropractic.

Professional Experience

Troxel Intern Program
I also began practicing and developing my chiropractic skills and patient care early.

I worked in the Troxell Intern program and enjoyed applying the technical skills learned in school to professional practice.

I moved to the beautiful island of O’ahu in Hawaii after graduating to work at a practice there.

Practicing in Hawaii
I moved to the beautiful island of O’ahu in Hawaii after graduating to work at a family practice there for more than 3 years.

We mainly focused on pregnancy, postpartum, and pediatrics. We also worked with many athletes, surfers, and military families.

While working in Hawaii, I had the privilege to travel to learn, teach, and practice chiropractic to international students, doctors, and underserved communities in areas such as Guatemala.

You can read some of their testimonials here.

Outside of the practice

Growing up in Wisconsin and having lived in Hawaii, I love spending time outdoors and being anywhere near or on the water. I enjoyed being surrounded by nature in Hawaii, and getting to surf! Hiking and exploring different spots are also some of my favorite activities.

I also like to golf and watch sports!

And sometimes, I just can’t help myself, but reading chiropractic research is really exciting to me and I love the challenge of learning more and more so I can become a better doctor each day.

I’ve also volunteered in mission trips to help underserved patients in Guatemala, giving them chiropractic care to at-risk and high-need communities. I learned some words, phrases, and sentences in Spanish, and hope when I return for mission trips in other countries I can pick up on other languages as well.

How I can help you

I’m proud of being a provider who patients trust and rely on. At Premier Chiropractic, every plan is customized to each individual circumstance.

I’ve seen athletes, pregnant mothers, and children who also all benefit from the structural chiropractic care approach. I’ve also seen people who just want to be healthier.

As a “Structural Chiropractor,” I determine clinical steps for chiropractic treatmnt based on the patient’s structural shifts in their spine.

Structural chiropractic care can help with:

  • Addressing and decreasing pain (lower back, neck, shoulder, knee etc.)
  • Decreasing degeneration of the joint and connective tissues (e.g. arthritis)
  • Improving joint mobility, function and health
  • Strengthening the immune system
  • Improving athletic performance
  • Increasing energy, and improving sleep.
  • Decreasing associated back pain with the pregnancy, or labor
  • Relieving and improving prenatal discomfort
  • Improving overall health and wellness for infants and children.
  • Decreasing the adverse effects of stress
  • Decreasing frequency of migraine headaches
  • Speeding up the recovery process

If you’ve tried different approaches with no satisfying solutions, Structural Chiropractic is for you. Thanks for taking the time to learn about me! I hope to get the opportunity to learn more about you.
